Pics from Kay

I just received in today's mail the pictures Kay had copied.  Kay is the wife of Gerald Lynes, grandson of Richard Lynes, who was the youngest son of George Lynes of Foxbank.

One is a picture of George's sons (and son in law) and the other is Richard and his wife Annie Elizabeth Sanders.

In the picture of the sons, I believe our Great Grandfather Samuel is the first on the left, and the second I'm pretty sure is John Henry, the 3rd Gerald says is Richard, 4th, according to Julia Britton (who actually had met him, her grandfather) is Edward Sims, and that would leave the 5th to be George Jr.

Now Julia agrees with this line up, except that she is fairly sure the 5th one is "my uncle Dick" and the tall one in the middle (#3) is George Jr.  George Jr. and Edward Sims DID serve in the Confederate Army, which would have them standing together as "brothers in arms" and Richard being the youngest might be stuck on the end, but I have no way to know this.  She hasn't reframed them yet, so I will ask Kay if there are any names on the back.
