We are very excited to have located and corresponded this week with descendants of Jesse Colton Lynes (brother of the aforementioned Samuel W. Lynes, in previous post below) and we will be seeing what records they may have in the coming weeks.  Since Jesse Colton was well travelled, a scholar who was interested in recording things, and was proud of his heritage, we are hoping he collected and assembed documents in his lifetime and left many records, letters, family trees, and other information that we have never seen and may answer a great many questions.  We hope they survived to the present generation.  2012 looks to be an exciting year!
